Calendar Pages

BJ's Sisters and I made a "GrandKid" calendar for BJ's Parents. I offered to do Jamie and Marcie's pages. Enjoy! (ps, BJ and Joe are firefighters, the letters on the calendar days are the shift days.)

Auction Item

I bought this layout made by Aunt Shirley at the Joe White Family Reunion- Auction. I knew it would be a perfect host for AJ's upcoming Birthday pictures. I made it a fold out page so he can open it up and see the cards he got.

August Club

ZOO theme!
Layouts from Cherish. I left it at Michelle's house or I would tell you the titles... If you want to know the titles, I can find them. (How did I ever scrapbook without Cherish???)
This is my favorite card I have ever made. ever. (inside it says, "It's your birthday")
I love the uniqueness of this card. The orange photo clip twists and the circle flap opens the card where it says, "Happy Birthday" inside. Pull the ribbons of the bird and it is a bookmark.
See...a bookmark...so tricky!

I love how these projects turned out.

JOIN MY CLUB!

What is Scrapbook Club???
~NOT CURRENT~
(let me know if you are interested in joining when I start up again)
My scrapbook club is a group of fun individuals interested in preserving memories through the art and love of scrapbooking...and who also like to party!

Read on, my crafty friend....
MEMBER BENEFITS:
• Most months we will be creating four fabulous projects. Two are yours to make for free, the other two are available for $1.00 each. (Usually 1-12x12 page, 1 card and 2 other projects)
• We will be meeting the SECOND THURSDAY of each month). I understand conflicts will occur, life happens when we least expect it! I will need an attendance head count by the Monday prior to club (RSVP by way of commenting on the appropriate blog post) so I am not left with a lot of scraps. If you are not in attendance you will receive the pieces for 1 free project with your order (to be assembled on your own). The $1.00 projects will not be available to those who don't attend.
• Club meets at my house in Herriman, from 7:00-9 :00 pm.
• Club members must commit to six club nights with a minimum purchase of $25.00 of Close to my Heart products due that night (if you can't make it, please submit your order ahead of time) Your commitment is extremly important to the club. Each person's order counts towards the "Hostess" credit. If you don't follow through, the selected hostess will not be able to redeem her rewards. *You are still required to purchase even when it's your turn as hostess. *Tax and Shipping are not included in the minimum purchase requirement. *Orders made outside of club do not count toward purchase requirement.
• Once during the year, YOU will be "Hostess" and receive a minimum of $25.00 in freebies!!! And all you have to do is show up! (See "Your turn to host" to see how to get more than $25 in free stuff!)
• By being a member of the club, You will receive the next three catalogs for FREE!
• You will have priority access to all my craft tools! (such as my hundreds of stamps, growing supply of inks, and incredible cricut and cartridges!)

Your Turn to Host

When it's your turn to "Host" you have no typical hosting responsibilities.....However.....If you would like to host your own "Connecting" party , (parties need to be closed on THURSDAY night) it could significantly sweeten your pot. It will all be added to our club total so your $25.00 in freebies could turn into $60.00 freebies (+) SOOOO Easily! You can do a traditional home gathering, open house, or a catalog party. Bring an extra $100.00 in orders and you automatically get $40 in free stuff.

Rewards

In addition to the rewards you get from being a club member, some months I will have a CLUB ATTENDEE ONLY special that you must make an appearance to receive. I will also have an on-going Tally Chart that you can earn points towards an AMAZING prize at the end of the club. Some (but not all) things you can do to earn points are:

•Bring "Close to my Heart" items that you made at home to show off.
•Be on time.
•Come!
•Create all offered projects.
•Bring an outside order (or more, like hosting a connecting party)

ALSO-Some months we will have a "Mini drawing". Everyone's name will be entered and the selected name will receive the prize of the month. Your name goes in TWICE--- IF you have brought samples of your working using products purchased during the current club commitment.

By setting Club Night aside, and committing to it, you will benefit greatly from it.

HOW DO YOU JOIN???
Space is limited to 6 and does not begin with less than 5 members. The next club will be starting in March 2010. If you have read the above information and want to be put on the waiting list, email me at lizzcwhite@hotmail.com.
